MYTHRILL IS LOOKING FOR AN IN HOUSE EDITOR TO JOIN OUR STORY EVALUATION TEAM.Â
Mythrill is a mobile app that features serialized stories with daily released episodes, and a new immersive reading experience. The app is focused on Science Fiction and Fantasy genres, where worldbuilding has an immense importance. We are merging visuals of fictional worlds into story episodes, and provide an interactive reading experience.
The editor will be responsible for:
Â
- Editing and proofreading stories that will go live on the app. This includes but is not limited to examining how individual paragraphs and sentences flow, issues of clarity and redundancy, the coherency of scenes, and clarity of the author's voice.Â
- Tightening sentence structure so the language is sharp and clear and paying close attention to the pace of the story.
- Participate in the story selection process with the rest of the Story Evaluation Team, to evaluate the quality of content.
In order to qualify you must be
Â
- Fluent in English
- Interested in the Sci-Fi & Fantasy Genres
- Have a Content Writing/Editing Background
- Hold a Linguistic Degree or Pursue One
